4NRS Journey - (Foreigner & Journey Tribute)
4NRS Journey is a fan-built tribute project honoring the music and legacy of both Foreigner and Journey. The site and its community highlight the band’s powerful live shows, celebrate classic-rock nostalgia, and deliver high‑energy performances that resonate with fans.
Keith Carmichael (vocals): A seasoned frontman since age 13, known for his uncanny vocal tone and bombastic stage presence. His live video of "Faithfully" has amassed over a million views.
Carter MacDowell (bass): A dynamic performer with deep roots in Florida’s rock scene; has toured the U.S. and holds a degree in advertising alongside music scholarship credentials.
Peter Konstantakos (guitar): A UMASS-trained guitarist whose career spans original rock bands in Rhode Island to endorsements and a current lead-guitar role with 4NRS as of June 2023.
Luis “Brooks” Torres (drums): A percussionist from Puerto Rico with decades of experience in pop‑rock and 80s tribute bands, joining 4NRS Journey in 2022 after touring various Caribbean circuits.
Mark Cohn (keyboard): A multi-instrumentalist and Music Director with 30+ years in live performance, production, and audio post, bringing technical precision and studio expertise to the band’s sound.

Jake Kulak & The Modern Vandals Duo
Award-winning guitarist and songwriter Jake Kulak delivers a sound that channels electric blues with a dose of classic rock nostalgia and garage rock edge. Fans of Jack White, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, The Black Keys, and The Strokes will feel right at home in his audience. Known for his powerful live shows—whether solo or with his band, The Modern Vandals—Jake’s guitar-driven blues/rock style is packed with soul, improvisation, and grit.
He’s been performing professionally since age 12, thrilling audiences from Norway to Australia, NYC to the Mississippi Delta. A regular in Clarksdale, Mississippi for five summers, Jake’s deep blues roots and evolving rock sensibilities have earned him national recognition. He’s represented Connecticut four times at the International Blues Challenge Youth Showcase in Memphis, and later with his band, won the CT Blues Society’s Band Challenge and returned to Memphis to compete.
Jake’s music features original blues and rock tracks, along with fresh takes on blues and funk covers. His singles “Better,” “Caution Tape,” and “Circles” were all finalists in the prestigious International Songwriting Competition, and his debut album was named one of the top albums by a Connecticut artist by the Hartford Courant. He and his band have also been nominated for a New England Music Award for “Best New Act of the Year” and took home the $10,000 grand prize in the Foxwoods "Battle of the Bands."
